Blog/Website research

Since starting my blog I have taken a bit of time to research blogger and how it functions, i wanted to find out how much was possible with it. My overall round up found that the options are limitless. I found different ways to change the blog into a static website which can enable you to use the html coding to change it into your own website. The video did not make it clear enough on how to do the whole process as this would realLy benefit me in my FMP.

I did although discover a number of things that you can do to your blog just to give that uniqueness and look more professional.

I was able to use these steps in my blog to change and make it look that little bit more professional (see Apendix 1 in Bibliography)

Some of the key steps from this were changing my header, removing my nav bar, adding a favicon and also getting rid of all comment boxes. This made it look a lot more tidy.

So as you can see these are a few examples of things i was able to add to my blog and make it look more professional. I will still continue to look into converting a blog into my FMP website as the whole idea of my BMX website is that it has a blog in it.
