Aswell as feedback for my website i also carried out some feedback for my video.
With my website complete this week i have been bust finishing of anlysing my website and also evaluating. Below is some of the feedback i have received from a number of people.
As you can see above this feedback was from a selection of students at Shiney row college. Below i have also got some feedback from people on Facebook.
I got a wide range of different aged people leaving feedback more positive then negatives but also i had some good constructive comments as well.
My final main page to be completed was my shop page. Similar to the links page it has large rollover images.
Overall for this page i was really happy with the design of each shops rollover. I had some inspiration from videos and images that had seen previously that gave me this idea to create a type of collage image.
My location page was the next to be designed, this had a very similar design to my home page. I integrated another blog into this page so that i can easily update information about skateparks in the area.
With this page i was really pleased with how the map i created turned out although i used google maps to create it it looks really good and useful.
As part of the pre production I needed to create a proposal, treatment, production schedule 1 & 2 and my storyboard.
Below is my proposal and treatment
Below is my proposal and treatment
Proposal
I have been asked to carry out a final major project, my main objective is a BMX website, I propose to create a web video for the website that will be the start in a series of web videos the first web video will focus on Sunderland BMX scene then in the future I will carry out videos for other towns in the north east.
My target audience is the users of my website, I have carried out some research and my target audience age range is 13-25 year olds in the northeast.
My video will be released through the Internet using Vimeos video uploader and will be advertised through my NE BMX website.
Treatment
Title
My production is NE BMX, using the same name as my BMX website I want to make it clear that NE BMX are responsible for many things including web videos. NE BMX’s main purpose is providing mostly BMX riders with information and content from the Northeast are but I do want NE BMX to be behind as much production it can whether it photographs, web design or even images.
Subject
The subject of the video is BMX, I want to provide my audience with a series of introductory web edits showing the different cities/towns in the north east, so to begin with I’m creating a web video based on Sunderland. The idea of these web videos are to show of the city, skateparks, street spots and the local riders.
Content
For this web video I will be using video tape cameras and possibly digital. The equipment needed will be a tripod, camera, tapes, memory stick and phone. All of these pieces of equipment will allow me to film and also get in contact with other riders involved in the film. My target audience for the film will be 13 to 25 years old and anyone else outside of that who visits the site. I plan to share my video initially on the NE BMX website but it will be available for embedding on other website who wants to share it.
My main purpose of this film is to one advertise NE BMX as a new website and two show of the area and what it has to offer to BMX riders.
I do not have a specific budget for my web video although I do not actually plan to spend anything, rather than setting a budget I’m just going lay down what may cost me if any problems were to occur. Phone credit to keep in contact with the riders, bus fare if my BMX became broken as this would be my main transport for getting to locations and also refreshments may be required on long days of filming.
With a list of overall ten points i have managed to document all of these missing pieces and give them a place in my folder, i created a brainstorm, mood board and an evaluation of all of these.
My next step is pre production for my NE bmx sunderland bmx promo. This video gives an insight into Sunderland's BMX scene and whats available.
My main inspiartion for the video is a video created by Mutiny BMX when they traveled to Israel.

After having a meeting with my lecture Dave Vincent i discovered that my folder was lacking a few keys parts of the project so i decided to go back and cover these missing pieces.
1. Looked at unit 5 (working to a brief) and unit 4 (creative media production)
2. Dave pointed out I am missing surveys, brainstorm ideas for my FMP
3. Dave pointed out I need to analyse each idea I have came up with
4. Dave pointed out I need to justify my final FMP idea
5. Dave pointed out I need to create a mood board for my final FMP idea
6. We decided I need to get other teachers responses of other section of my FMP
7. Andrea needs to look at my website
8. Dave will need to check my video when its complete to check for anything possibly wrong
9. I need to keep on top of my FMP blog
10. Dave pointed out I need to create a treatment
For my locations page I have already created a blog that has the address and images of the skateparks but I had decided to put a map at the top of the page, which would physically show you where all the skateparks are.

Using Google maps I was able to individually look up all the address and plot them on the map. This allows me now to embed this map on my website which people can look at and also have a closer look at the park locations.

As part of my blogs for my website the locations page needed a lot of research on skateparks and there locations. This week i looked up around 17 of the best skateparks in the north east and got their address and images of the park.

As part of my website idea i need to create a few blogs that can be integrated into my website, after researching a number of website they all carry out theres in a very similar blog structure. I decided to use blogger to create my blog as i have learnt a number of tricks that can help me to alter it in a way that it would blend straight into my website.
Blog one is my bmx homepage blog that will be update frequently with bmx news.

Blog 2 is my locations blog that has a number of images of skateparks and also a map of the skatepark locations.

These blogs will eventually be integrated into my final website.
Carrying on with website research i looked in a bit deeper at how i could possibly integrate a blog into a website that i had created myself. I came across a few thing such as an RSS or Atom feed but these were slightly dated and do not really carry out what i need in my website. These only integrate blog feeds and other network feeds such as facebook and twitter with very small details.
Eventually i came across something called an iframe. This is type of scripting that allows you to integrate a whole website in your website. This is the scripting i have found.
<body>
<iframe frameborder="0"scrolling="yes"width="1100"height="400"src="http://www. .com"></iframe>
This code can be altered depending on whether you want scrolling, a border and also you can alter the height and width of the are that it will be viewed in.
This script for me is a big step forward in what i want to carry out for my FMP.
